I've been doing a lot of collage lately. It's a relaxing, inspiring, and insightful form of art for me. 

This morning, I had a few minutes before diving into my day's work, and I followed an inner urge to do a quick scan of a magazine I'd been gifted and pick out one image or phrase as my theme for the day.

Immediately, on the cover, there it was: Refresh & Renew.

As I've gone through my day, I've kept that phrase close by, and every time it catches my eye, I find myself slowing down, relaxing, and looking at what I'm doing with fresh eyes and renewed energy. These are qualities that I want more of as I move forward with my art and my life.

I am studying a form of art right now called Soul Art. It is a profound experience of tapping into inner wisdom and guidance through creativity and art, so powerful that I am getting certification. My latest pieces are all 8 - 9' tall on paper, and I'm getting ready to launch onto canvas. 

I've had so many questions come up during these times of intense change, and Soul Art is bringing me a deep inner experience of wisdom and grace under pressure. I've always heard that learning to relax in the midst of chaos is a key to great art, and am now finding it a key to accessing  my heart and soul in a fuller way.
